Société des traversiers du Québec
Business, transportation and travel organization.
The Société des traversiers du Québec offers year-round, secure and reliable ferry service for passengers and vehicles alike. Every crossing leads to a different tourism region, making it possible to see more regional attractions within the same number of kilometres travelled. Time of crossings is as little as 10 minutes at Sorel-Tracy, Québec City and Tadoussac, and 20 minutes for L’Isle-aux-Coudres and L’Isle-aux-Grues. The longest crossing is that linking Matane and Baie-Comeau, at 2 hours, 20 minutes. A shipboard escapade on the St. Lawrence is a magical experience, with the beauty of the changing landscapes inciting passengers to immortalize the moment in photos they will treasure as mementoes of their discovery of “Québec from Shore to Shore.”
