Village Québécois d’Antan (Le) More details...
In the heart of Québec lies a small village where the past and its ways live in harmony with the present. This typical 19th century village re-creates the period from 1810 to 1910. Located on the Saint-François River, the Village Québécois d'Antan is a cultural, education and tourist destination that’s rich in history—a place to remember. Some 40 authentic buildings from the Centre-du-Québec region, along with about 20 reproductions built by artisans, have been erected in enchanting surroundings on one of the first lots to be colonized in the Township of Wendover. These dwellings that housed so many generations of French Canadians bear witness to the Québec of yesteryear.
