There are more than 200 shows, including 150 free outdoor concerts that nearly a million festival goers come to enjoy. Since 1989, the FrancoFolies have been a true reflection of francophone music's vitality. Nearly 70 shows at different venues and the free outdoor concerts are proof of the quality, diversity and vitality of a rich musical program! Montrealers and tourists take over the safe and festive site of the FrancoFolies every year over a dozen days in the heart of downtown. A rendez-vous with the best of world and francophone music. Laval June 15 to July 15, 2012 3) Laval's Mondial Loto-Québec presented by Rona Laval's Mondial Loto-Québec presented by Rona is a national and international choral singing event. This festival is the largest gathering of choirs and vocal groups in all of North America and has made it possible for Laval to proclaim itself the Canadian and Quebec Capital of Choral Singing. To everyone?s delight, hundreds of concerts and shows (some of which are free) are presented in halls and outside, in all parts of the city during the festival.
