The impressive permanent exhibits at the Museum include the Grand Hall – home to the largest indoor collection of totem poles in the world – and the Canada Hall, showcasing 1000 years of Canada’s past through a variety of reconstructed historical settings.

This year, the Museum invites you to discover the beauty of the Greek world. This extraordinary exhibit presents a stunning collection of art and artefacts spanning 8,000 years, from 6000 BC right up to the 1820s, and bears witness to the longevity and worldwide influence of Greek culture.

The Canadian Museum of Civilization is also a partner of the Canadian War Museum. Located on the Ontario side of the Ottawa River, it offers stirring exhibits devoted to Canada’s military history.
